NANTUCKET VILLAGE HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION

RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE USE OF THE PRIVATE BEACH

         The following rules and regulations apply to the private beach which is located between           the homes at 526 and 550 Wolverine Drive: 

1.  Only residents in good standing and their guests are allowed to use the beach.

2.  Children under twelve years old must be accompanied by an adult.

3.  Beach hours are 7:00am – 10:00pm.

4.  There is no lifeguard on duty so you swim at your own risk.

5.  The following items or activities are prohibited:

a.  Glass containers

b.  Motorized watercraft

c.   Fishing

d.  Open fires

6.  The following items or activities are permitted:

a.  Hand launching of kayaks

b.  Paddleboards and similar water sport items

7.  Dogs must be on a leash.

8.  Animal waste must be picked up and properly disposed.

9.  Trash must be picked up and removed from the beach.

                           10.    Overnight parking is prohibited.

a.Violators will receive a written warning.

b.The vehicle must be moved within eight (8) hours after the written warning.

                                c.   If the vehicle is not moved, it will be towed away at the owner’s expense.

                            11.    Please report any violation of these rules to a Nantucket Board Member.
